OUR FOUNDERS
Grupo Rios is the result of the love, vision and hard work of its two founders and husbands, Gerardo Ríos and Elena Serna.
From very humble origins, Gerardo and Elena knew responsibility from an early age, which fostered their driven nature.
Together they built this beautiful company, starting in a small garage in the municipality of Bello-Antioquia. Gerardo’s knowledge and experience in cabinetmaking and Elena’s administrative and financial skills were a recipe for success, multiplied with the great vision and joint strength of these two pillars, Grupo Ríos went from being a small garage business to being a great company.
The company is molded in the image of its founders, where we turn everyday challenges into opportunities, without fear of taking risks and where we all grow together hand in hand with innovation, commitment and the talent of all its collaborators.

A first investment is made in technology and machinery.

Elena Serna Sanchez, is hired by the company.

First Export – Chevignon y Mario Hernández Stores in Venezuela and Panamá.

New Headquarters
New production headquarters in Niquía, Bello.

Elizabeth Rios Serna is hired by the company.
